Have you ever noticed how quickly life can swing from one extreme to another?
Not long ago, I was rushing to the hospital after my brother went in for a minor heart procedure. What should have been routine turned into an emergency. He fell, was injured, and for over 20 minutes, he was gone.
Miraculously, the doctors brought him back. He’s still recovering—and that experience shook me to my core.
Fast forward to today: business is humming, I’m signing clients, and feeling grateful for the work I get to do.
It’s tempting to think we should only celebrate the good or rush past the hard. But the truth is, when you allow yourself to feel it all—grief, gratitude, joy, fear—you create a richer, more connected life.
Research backs this up. According to the Greater Good Science Center, fully experiencing emotions without suppressing them improves resilience, well-being, and even our physical health (source).
Here’s what I remind myself (and my clients):
✅ The lows remind you what matters most.
✅ The highs remind you what’s possible.
✅ All of it deserves your presence.
Wherever you are—up, down, or somewhere in between—I hope you’ll let yourself be there. Feel it fully.
And if you ever need someone in your corner, cheering you on—I’m here.
You’ve got this.
